Amaury Capiot working in my own county

“Going through to a WorldTour team”,  with those rightly ambitious words, Amaury Capiot started his road season in January. After persistent problems with his knee at the end of February, the native of Lanake is back on track to achieve his big goal for this year.

Standing out in a big race is essential for this, and next Sunday’s ‘De Vaillant Ronde van Limburg’ is just one of those big races. Capiot therefore has the unique opportunity to shine in front of its own audience with its Sport Vlaanderen – Baloise team. Together with his teammates Aimé De Gendt, Lindsay De Vylder, Ruben Pols, Jarl Salomein, Stijn Steels, Dries Van Gestel and Jens Wallays, he goes in search of eternal fame on the Centenary Wal in Tongeren.
